Birmingham Apothecary is a historic pharmacy located in the Five Points South community of Birmingham, Alabama. We are located at the site of the oldest pharmacy in Birmingham. For over 100 years, we have been serving the community with quality medications and a knowledgeable team of pharmacists. We are proud to be a part of the history of Birmingham and strive to serve our customers with the same level of care and dedication we have for years.
Our apothecary has modernized over the years, but we always strive to maintain the same level of commitment to our customers. AJ Patel
Meet our owner, AJ Patel! AJ completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia and received his Doctorate of Pharmacy at Nova Southeastern University. In his free time, AJ loves spending time with his beautiful family. AJ is an avid traveler and has been to over 15 countries. His favorite place he has traveled is Rome.
Mayan Patel
Mayan is our pharmacy manager at Birmingham Apothecary. Mayan received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy in 2018. Raised in Selma, Alabama, Mayan and his wife now reside in Birmingham. In his free time, Mayan loves to play a good game of golf.
